Rod swapping and guests

1. SWAPS

Members may swap their fishing days as they wish. The list of telephone numbers and names in the annual information for members may be of assistance in arranging swaps, as may the fishery website.

2. GUESTS

The fishery manager is responsible for security and needs to know the identity of all guests. If a member sends a guest to the fishery without the member accompanying him, the member concerned must let the fishery manager know in advance. It is helpful for guests to leave a note on their car, giving their name and the name of the relevant member.

3. SHIFT FISHING

Although it is part of the pleasure of fishing to invite family and friends to fish with members, it is not acceptable to have groups of people lining up to fish a beat in turns. This is not a "rule" but please seek clarification from the fishery manager if unsure about this. "Shift fishing" will be outlawed by the rules if it does arise. Please show consideration to the other member sharing a beat.
